It’s hard to put into words what happens inside The Dream Life Academy sometimes. We come up with all these crazy ideas about what we’d love to do and how much money we’d like to make and then when it starts to happen for us, well, we’re kind of surprised that our dreams really did come true, but then not surprised at all because we set our goals and put in the work.
One of the Dreamies – who was told she wouldn’t ever be able to get pregnant – is expecting her first baby. More on that story on Wednesday but it was one of the Dreamies who actually helped her.
Today though I want to talk about Pamela Windle (Health and Wellness Coach) and Mairi Taylor (Beauty and Cosmetics Expert) who will both be at my LIVE EVENT happening on June 28th in Nottingham.
They are going to talk about how their lives have been transformed by the program using one platform in particular – Instagram. We have a whole bonus module all about Instagram and I teach it again inside the Media pillar training.
Pamela’s Story:
Pamela has been chosen by a massive brand to be part of a national campaign alongside bloggers and IG Influencers. When she asked them why they picked her to be their expert they told her it was because of her authentic Instagram account and how she engaged with her audience.
This backs up what I’ve been saying for a long time. Big Brands are shopping around for micro-influencers who haven’t bought 10,000 followers to get the swipe up feature. They are searching out small accounts where engagement is high. Pamela has less than 1000 followers but she’s making it pay and that’s what’s important.
Mairi came to Paris for my Instagram Walking Workshop and within five minutes she declared: “This is a game-changer, I can literally go home now you’ve just changed my world.”
I just taught her how to take Insta-worthy pictures. She tried it when she got home and got SIX new leads straight away, something that had never happened before.
Mairi has just over 1,000 Instagram followers and it’s fair to say it’s not her favourite platform she just didn’t get it, until she saw how you can literally make money just by posting an awesome picture and caption.
